Privacy notice

Last updated 6 August 2026. This notice explains what we do with your personal information when you enquire, request a visualisation, or become a customer.

Who we are

DemandOS Ltd, trading as SprayStandard, is the data controller for the information described in this notice. We are not a specialist. We run the SprayStandard brand and pass each enquiry to a single vetted local spraying specialist for the customer’s area.

What we collect

When you enquire or request a survey

Your name, postcode, email address and telephone number, together with the details you give us about the property: type, what you are looking to have sprayed, its current condition and your timescale. If you have used the visualiser, your product, colour, style and glass selections are attached to the enquiry.

When you use Design Before You Buy

A photograph of your home. The photograph is held in your own browser while you make your selections and is not transmitted to us unless and until you submit the enquiry form. If you leave without submitting, we never receive it.

What we do not collect

We do not hold your survey measurements, your order, your specification or your payments. Those sit with your specialist, because your contract for the work is with them, not with us.

When you visit the website

Essential storage that remembers your cookie choice and your visualiser selections. If — and only if — you accept analytics and advertising cookies, we also receive information about how you found the site and which pages you viewed. See our cookie notice.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not pass your details to other companies for their own marketing.

We share it only where we need to:

Your specialist is a separate data controller

This is the part most people care about, so we will be plain about it. When we pass your enquiry to your matched specialist, they become a data controller in their own right. From that point they decide how they use your details to quote for and carry out your work, and they are responsible for that under their own privacy notice.

We remain responsible for everything up to and including that handover: what we collect, how we hold it, and the fact that it goes to one specialist rather than several. We do not sell enquiries, and we do not pass your details to other specialists, brokers or marketing lists.

If you would like to know which specialist received your enquiry, or you want them to delete your details, email us and we will tell you and pass the request on.

Where your data is held

Our records are held within the UK and the European Economic Area wherever possible. Some of our service providers, including our website analytics and advertising providers, are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK extension to the Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where the change is significant we will tell customers directly.

Before this page goes live. This notice is drafted to reflect how the website and the enquiry process actually work, and the highlighted fields still need filling in. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor. Have yours read it alongside the terms, particularly the sharing and retention sections, before you spend money driving traffic here.
